IN MEMORY OF YOU

Stop the war in Iraq

Let my people stay

In their burnt homeland

Families cry  ‘cause

Their sons and brothers

are going away 

To stay  safe and alive

No childhood for Iraqi

*****************

Mother’s tears stream in

The river Tigris 

Carries blood and bones

Leaves of Palm trees fall

*******************

Strew  and die on a

Crimson  dry  ground

Birds burnt by guns  and

Explosions of bombs

*******************

What will stay after?

The return of troops there !

No master of  world on earth

Only Allah knows the truth
